Description

The Rheatain Railway World Heritage property encompasses a spectacular working railways system that crosses the Alps from Italy to Switzerland. This railway is over 100 years old. Adaptation is required to ensure a safe operation of the line, but is also proposed to accommodate different operational requirements. This presentation highlighted the adaptation options that would safeguard the Outstanding Universal Value of this World Heritage property.
