n this work, we present measurement results of the potential of transducer arrays as ultrasonic clamp-on flow meters. We show how electronic beam steering may be used to automatically align the acoustic waves for different travel paths, and also how it is possible to extract elastic properties of the pipe and the liquid from these optimized paths.
