The exhibition displays the research-by-design work produced by 24 students in the Spring 2025 EXTERIORLESS seminar, taught by Stefano Corbo.
During 8 weeks, students have investigated the context of the Netherlands, by analysing the supply chains of conventional commodities – food, flowers, fashion, etc. – as well as the spatial byproducts that permit the functioning of those chains. The analysis of given supply chains was paired with the redesign of some of their architectures. Students envisioned the transformation of distribution centres, warehouses, and greenhouses in structures open to the city, capable to act as collective magnets and to generate sustainable practices.
The end result of these explorations was a journey across the Netherlands' architectures of logistics.
