Description
In 1965, the Dutch architects Aldo and Hannie van Eyck moved to an eighteenth century house in Loenen aan de Vecht, completely renovated for them and their family. Other than their two children, their “family” included a ridiculous number of books, pictures, drawings, models, modern paintings and, chiefly, primitive art pieces. How can we approach these entities today? How can we use the house to unpack Aldo van Eyck’s thinking and, more importantly, how can HIS transform OURS?Period | 30 Jul 2020 |
