While fiction is not bound to answer to reality, what happens when it
enters architectural discourse? Can a speculative narrative, a fictional
character, or a non-human storyteller inform architectural criticism? This
seminar investigates experimental and feminist forms of writing to explore
ficto-criticism as a method for composing alternative understandings of
social and political realities.
