“Mapping Socio-Techno-Environmental Assemblages: An Epiphylogenealogical Approach”

Activity: Talk or presentationTalk or presentation at a conference

The paper presents a particular dynamics systems-theoretic approach to mapping emergent processes or historical formation of socio-techno-environmental assemblages, which is called “Epiphylogenetic mapping”. The first part elaborates on the theoretical notion of “Epiphylogenesis” and its particular extension of genetic and genealogical modes of inquiry. The second part discusses the methodological implication of this account for mapping (trans)formations.
