On May 24 at 14.00-15.30 the association arranges a briefing (digital) on ethical and legal aspects of autonomous weapon systems. Participating are Steven Umbrello, researcher in technology ethics and CEO of the think tank The Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies and Christer Ahlström, director of the Institute of Foreign Policy.

Steven will provide a background to some ethical dilemmas that follow from an increased use of autonomous systems and then discuss how a possible requirement for human control can be understood and applied from an ethical perspective.
