The presentation introduces a novel application of ‘mental mapping’, which can help to reveal hidden dimensions of port-cities and understand them their complex undivided nature. And, thus, they help us to look beyond the water, docks, cargo, moving loads, and ships in the future, beyond a presumed divisions between port and city and sustain port-city interrelations.
