Description

At the Mobility Congress 2024, held on June 6 at the Concert Hall the Vereeniging Nijmegen, a co-creation workshop titled "Low-Carbon Stations Data-Hub" was conducted by Halina Veloso e Zarate. This workshop convened mobility developers, urban planners, and product designers to explore data-supported methods for redeveloping transportation nodes, aiming for a low-carbon future for Dutch cities. Participants engaged in a practical data refinery exercise and discussed the challenges of scaling these methods to achieve the Netherlands' decarbonization goals by 2050. Special acknowledgment is given to PhD candidate Inès Zaid for her assistance with the workshop's setup and documentation. The event, organized by Euroforum, also featured notable sessions on digitalization and sustainable urbanization, providing valuable insights into the future integration of city development and mobility.
