Description

The event has been dedicated to the transformations of cities and public spaces, offering an overview of theoretical and practical approaches from all over the world to face the challenges of the present, with an eye towards the future. Organized by City Space Architecture and Fondazione Innovazione Urbana, with the support of the Ove Arup Foundation and UN-Habitat (United Nations Human Settlements Programme). The afternoon session was dedicated to the experiences of transformation of public space and hosted the speeches of the winners and finalists of the 2022 European Prize for Urban Public Space, in the presence of Valentina Orioli, councilor of the Municipality of Bologna with responsibilities for new mobility, infrastructure, livability and care of public space, enhancement of cultural heritage and UNESCO Porticoes, care of arboreal heritage and Green Footprint Project.
