Description

In this workshop, we first introduce the context of large-scale public-private impact-driven innovation collaborations, referred to as "orchestrating innovation," and discuss the types of challenges these collaborations address. We then engage participants in exploring the challenges of problem classification and designing solution development and innovation strategies within mission-driven innovations.

Participants will be introduced to and experiment with novel approaches based on the evolutions of the Cynefin framework and other problem-solution classification methods. This interactive segment includes several iterations of the following:
- Introduction of stylized problems from different domains.
- Problem-solution classification.
- Group discussions on participants' responses.

This workshop is aimed at professionals involved in systemic change, mission-driven innovation, and innovation hubs and networks focused on societal change. The outcomes of the workshop will contribute to the development of a practical framework to support strategy development in impact-driven collaborative public-private innovation networks.
