Tools, techniques and procedures employed in architectural projection have great impact on its final product. Architectural representation, the most comprehensive field in the intellectualization of this process is under great transformation both with its theoretical setting and with its new digital machinery that frees the designer from many geometric, material or fabrication limitations. Starting with these assumptions, a critical reconsideration of the relationship between design and its representation under the impact of digital media is to be scrutinised.
