ARTES: Kritika Xhejkobiane ne kontenkstin shqiptar (Jacobs critics in the Albanian context)

Description

ARTES is a TV show broadcasted in the Albanian National Radio-television (RTSH Radio Televizioni Shqiptar). It gives a critical view on the culture and art in Albania. In this episode the work of Jane Jacobs is used as a lens for a critical view on the recent rapid urban transformations in the city of Tirana. At the same time, the guest articulate a critique on Jacobs's work on gentrification, the shallow use of her proposed principles and its impact on contemporary urban design.
