Title Formatievliegen op een paar druppels water Degree of recognition National Media name/outlet TU Delft Media type Web Duration/Length/Size 1 pag. Producer/Author redactie URL https://www.tudelft.nl/lr/actueel/spotlight/formatievliegen-op-een-paar-druppels-water/ Persons A. Country/Territory Netherlands Date 1/08/17 Description With the trend towards miniaturized satellites, the search is on for small-scale propulsion methods. The work of Dr Angelo Cervone in the department of Space Engineering (SpE) focusses on MEMS-based propulsion systems. “Small satellites today have very limited propulsion capabilities, meaning they cannot change orbit or perform complex manoeuvres. So the development of new micro-propulsion systems is already an achievement in itself,” he says. “It also opens up the opportunity of employing constellations of satellites flying in formation.” Producer/Author redactie URL https://www.tudelft.nl/en/ae/news/spotlight/flying-formation-on-a-few-drops-of-water/ Persons A.
