Master's students in Architecture, Urban Planning, and Landscape from Delft University of Technology (Netherlands) arrived in Milan to participate in the kick-off meeting of a design workshop organized in collaboration between the University's Department of Architecture, Politecnico di Milano Department of Architecture and Urban Studies (DAStU), and Milano Serravalle – Milano Tangenziali.
The initiative focuses on the urban regeneration of road relics under the control of corporate infrastructure: residual areas with great potential. Future architects and urban planners will have the opportunity to develop innovative strategies for the reuse of these spaces, promoting new synergies between infrastructure, architecture, landscape, and the urban fabric.
This project combines an international vision and a connection to the local area, with the aim of stimulating sustainable and innovative solutions for the future of our infrastructure.
