Dirkx richt zich op het meten van bewegingen van ruimtevaartuigen rond hemellichamen. Rovira Navarro onderzoekt de 3D-structuur van de verborgen oceaan op Ganymede. Steenstra richt zich op de ontwikkeling van de lagere atmosfeer van Venus. Alle onderzoeken dragen bij aan toekomstige ruimtemissies en aan onze kennis van planeten. Country/Territory Netherlands Date 16/02/26 Description Dominic Dirkx, Marc Rovira Navarro and Edgar Steenstra have each received funding from the NWO programme ‘Use of space infrastructure for Earth observation and planetary research (GO)’. Dr Dirkx works on high-precision spacecraft orbit determination around celestial bodies. Dr Rovira Navarro studies the three-dimensional structure of Ganymede’s subsurface ocean Dr Steenstra studies the evolution of Venus’s lower atmosphere.
