Rik Versendaal heeft een NWO M-subsidie ontvangen voor zijn onderzoeksproject ‘Het stemmodel op Riemanniaanse variëteiten’. Door kansberekening te combineren met geometrie hoopt hij nieuwe wiskundige inzichten te creëren die innovaties in de sociale wetenschappen, biologie, natuurkunde en data-analyse kunnen helpen.
