Description
Thermal imaging videos (avi) recorded using a FLIR A655sc thermal camera with a close-up lens (1.5 magnifying factor and 25 µm resolution). The recorded field of view is 6.5mm in length. Videos were recorded on AA2024 surfaces before modifications (AA2024), after silanization (AA2024 SH), after grafting with anti-freeze proteins (AA2024 AFP), after grafting with ice-nucleating proteins (AA2024 INP), after hydrogel coating (AA2024 hydrogel), after hydrogel coating with anti-freeze proteins (AA2024 hydrogel AFP), and after hydrogel coating with ice-nucleating proteins (AA2024 hydrogel INP). Proteins were grafted using various linker lengths (PEG2, PEG12, PEG24) and protein concentrations (2.5mg, 5.0mg). Hydrogels were also prepared using two different concentrations (2.5mg and 5.0mg). Hydrogels were also imaged after dehydration (dehydrated).
