Personal profile

Research profile

I am an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science at TU Delft. I lead Wireless Communication and Sensing (WISE) Lab at Embedded Systems Group. My research is focused on wireless communication and sensing and its application in Beyond-5G/6G networks, where I leverage mathematical tools, in particular, machine learning to devise practical solutions for future wireless networks. I consistently publish in top-tier journals and conferences. Some of these works have appeared in IEEE ComSoc Tech Focus and IEEE ComSoc Best Reading Topics. Our review article on D2D communication has been listed as an ESI highly cited paper in the field. I am actively involved in the research community, serving on the technical program and organizing committees of several conferences, including IEEE INFOCOM, IEEE ICNP and ACM CoNEXT. My emphasis on the practicality of research has led to strong industrial collaborations and projects with large enterprises (Nokia, National Instruments, NEC) as well as patent applications.
