I am a researcher interested in understanding how communities, infrastructure, and industries respond to external shocks primarily originating from natural hazards. I develop empirical models to enhance our understandings on disaster risk reduction and resilience. My interdisciplinary research initiatives integrate the principles of civil engineering, social science, systems thinking, and data analytics.
