Academic background

Anna Enge is a PhD student at the Institute of Hydraulic Engineering in the Department of Coastal Engineering. She holds an MSc degree in Applied Geosciences from Christian-Albrecht University Kiel. During her master studies she deepened her knowledge in sedimentology and oceanography. In her master thesis she studied seiche properties in the southwestern Baltic Sea based on sea level and current velocity data.

Research profile

Anna's research is part of the NoSE project. Her goal is to determine the boundary conditions and pathways for sediment transport in the Norwegian Trench. Through her research, she hopes to contribute to a deeper understanding of sediment-induced carbon dynamics in the North Sea. Her research will rely on both observational and model data.
