Anna Hotze is associate professor and head section of Science and engineering education (SEEd) at Delft University of Technology since 2024. She obtained her PhD in Chemistry in 2003 in the field of bioinorganic chemistry. She worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Utrecht University on protein NMR and at the University of Birmingham on the topic of bioinorganic supramolecular chemistry. She worked in the pharmaceutical industry from 2007 till 2013 in several positions. In 2013 she started at the university of applied sciences IPABO in Amsterdam, first as lecturer and from 2015 as lector Science and technology and head of the research centre of IPABO.

Onderwijsonderzoek, onderzoekend en ontwerpend leren, differentiatie in Wetenschap en technologie onderwijs (W&T-onderwijs), integratie van taal en rekenen in W&T-onderwijs, STEAM-onderwijs, professionalisering van docenten, professionele leergemeenschappen, scheikunde  onderwijs, bionorganische chemie.  

Anna Hotze is universitair hoofddocent en sectieleider bij de Science en Engineering Education groep (SEEd) bij de faculteit Technische Natuurwetenschap van de TU Delft, sinds 2024. Ze heeft in 2003 haar promotieonderzoek afgerond in de bio-anorganische chemie. Vervolgens heeft ze een postdoc onderzoek gedaan naar eiwit NMR bij de universiteit Utrecht. Een tweede postdoc periode volgde aan de Universiteit van Birmingham (UK). Ze heeft van 2007 tot 2013 in de farmaceutische industrie gewerkt in verschillende rollen, van projectleider tot afdelingshoofd van de onderzoeksafdeling. In 2013 begon ze bij de Hogeschool IPABO, eerst als docent-onderzoeker en een paar jaar later als Lector Wetenschap en technologie en manager van het kenniscentrum.
