A PHD Candidate in the domain of AI for road safety, with a multicultural background that thrives in a diverse environment. A passionate and driven data scientist with multiple years of experience in the transportation sector, with an academic background in statistics, data science and international business.I work in the Safety and Security Science in the department of Values, Technology and Innovation, which is part of the TPM faculty .My enthusiasm for values based research fuels my projects in applying AI/ML and data science to real world challenges.
Research interests
As part of the IVORY docotoral network, my research interest primarily focuses on AI models that help mitigate driver distraction and drowsiness. The aims are to understand factors contributing to driver distraction and drowsiness at different levels of automation in order to develop analytical and AI-based models to monitor and predict the precursors of distraction and drowsiness among drivers.
