Christina seeks to design technologies that seamlessly integrate into daily life, enhancing cognitive functions and fostering a symbiotic relationship between humans and machines.

Christina's research delves into cognitive processes in HCI, with a significant emphasis on educational technology, cognitive augmentation, and user-centered design. Her work includes exploring language proficiency through EEG and eye-tracking, assessing mobile learning's interruptions, and designing task resumption cues to aid learning continuity. Christina has also investigated the potential of Augmented Reality (AR) in enhancing educational television alongside studies on notification delay mechanisms and their impact on users. Her research contributes to understanding how cognitive states influence interaction with technology and the development of systems that seamlessly integrate into daily life, emphasizing the balance between technological innovation and cognitive enhancement. In recent years, she has increasingly explored the role of upcoming consumer neurotechnologies and how users perceive them.
