E.M. Lampe, MA BSc

My name is Enne Lampe and I'm a PhD candidate at IDE -TU Delft- researching Human Robot Interaction (HRI) through design with the help of performing arts. I'm part of the Human Robot Interaction Lab and in the Human Technology Relations section of the Human Centred Design Department.

My PhD project is part of Dramaturgy for Devices, which is a collaboration between TU Delft, VU, UU and TU Twente. Within this project we work together with artists and researchers of theatre and performance arts to help design pleasant, meaningful and desirable human robot interactions.

I have a bachelor’s degree in IDE from the TU Delft and a master's degree in Media Studies: Literary Theory & Cultural Analysis from Leiden University. In my master thesis I explored the question of recognising subjecthood of AI. With my current research I continue this interest by researching the impact of embodied technologies with autonomous capabilities (robots) on our social reality.

I'm interested in applying (embodied) knowledge from the performing arts, Media Studies and Literary Theory to design methodologies. Additionally I'm always fascinated by theories and practices of meaning and sense making and again looking into what this could mean for design practices.

Mijn naam is Enne Lampe en ik ben een PhD kandidaat op IDE. Ik onderzoek Human Robot Interaction doormiddel van design met hulp van podiumkunsten. Ik ben deel van de Human Robot Interaction Lab en zit in de Human Technology Relations sectie van het Human Centred Design departement.

Mijn PhD project is onderdeel van Dramaturgy for Devices, wat een samenwerking is tussen TU Delft, VU, UU en TU Twente. In dit project werken we samen met kunstenaars en onderzoekers van theater en podium kunsten om het ontwerp van prettige, betekenisvolle en wenselijke mens robot interacties te bevorderen.

Ik heb een bachelor diploma in IDE van de TU Delft en een master diploma in Media Studies: Literary Theory & Cultural Analysis van Universiteit Leiden. In mijn master thesis onderzocht ik de vraag wanneer we AI als een subject kunnen beschouwen. Met mijn huidige onderzoek bouw ik voort op dezelfde interesse maar dan naar de impact van belichaamde technologie met autonome capaciteiten (robots) op onze sociale werkelijkheid.

Ik ben geïnteresseerd in het toepassen van (belichaamde) kennis van podiumkunsten, Mediawetenschap, literatuur Theory op ontwerp methodes. Ook ben ik altijd gefascineerd door theorieën en vaardigheden in betekenis- en zingeving
