Federico Montali is a PhD student in Geomechanics in the Geo-Engineering section at Delft University of Technology. He obtained his bachelor's degree as a civil engineer at the University of Parma and a master's in structural engineering at Politecnico di Milano. His research interests include numerical and experimental modeling of soil structure interaction problems, degradation effects on the mechanical response of structures, and soil.
