Gokul J Krishnan is a doctoral candidate at the Railway Engineering section, working on wheel-rail adhesion evaluation and management. Prior to starting his PhD, he worked as an assistant manager of vehicle integration at Bajaj Auto Ltd. He received his bachelors and masters in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (India). His research interests are wheel-rail friction and contact modelling.
