Huy Son Nguyen is a PhD candidate in the Multimedia Computing Group (MMC) at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), the Netherlands. His main research theme is Trustworthy Recommender Systems, under the supervision of Professor Alan Hanjalic and Assistant Professor Masoud Mansoury.

His broader research interests concentrate on interpretability and fairness in recommender systems, with the goal of understanding the reasoning behind recommendation processes, explaining system outputs, and addressing unfairness caused by algorithmic bias.
