Personal profile

Research profile

I have a decade of experience bridging industry and academia, specializing in the design of Business Ecosystems that are disrupted by technology and promote sustainable transformation.

I have led business process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and Business Process Analysis to enhance organizational performance and culture. This solid foundation in operations inspired my academic path.

As a PhD in Computer Science at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, my research explored Digital Business Ecosystems and the development of a tool to assist in modeling BPMN processes derived from e3 value business models (and vice versa), which facilitates decision-making in decentralized platforms - work that now supports my contribution to innovation in critical infrastructure.

Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at TU Delft within the “Toekomstbestendige Leefomgeving” (Future-Proof Living Environment) program. In collaboration with the Province of North Holland (https://www.noord-holland.nl/), Circularise (https://www.circularise.com/), and many public-private stakeholders, I design open, decentralized IT infrastructures for circular bridge renovation and asset data management. The goal: empower public clients with secure, interoperable systems that facilitate communication and sustainable procurement across the entire infrastructure supply chain.

My work lives at the intersection of systems thinking, digital governance, and societal impact. Let’s connect if you’re working toward a more circular, data-driven, and future-proof built environment.
