Personal profile

Research profile

Welkom! I am a visiting researcher on a sabbatical visit to TU Delft. My home institute is Concordia University, Canada, where I am an Associate Professor holding the University Research Chair in AI in Cyber Security and Resilience and the Research Co-Chair in Cyber Security and Resilience of Public Administration Networks.

My general research interest is computational intelligence, autonomy, security, and resilience, with applications to the nexus of energy, transport, buildings, communities, and humans in interdependent/interoperating infrastructures.

Research interests

My main research interests at TU Deflt include:

  • Federated digital twins and AI-ready test hubs with energy-mobility-human in the loop;
  • Computational intelligence & autonomy in multi-agentic mechanisms and decision-making;
  • Energy-mobility-human co-design, co-optimization, and co-validation in smart cities.

I am always open to learning, discussing, and exchanging ideas on other related topics, including cyber security, behavior change, causal learning, and higher education in general. Feel free to ping me via email, Teams, or LinkedIn!
