Personal profile

Research profile

My research is part of the  XCARCITY project, which aims to develop digital twins and innovative solutions for creating future low-car areas in Amsterdam, Almere, and the Metropolitan Region of Rotterdam-The Hague (MRDH). The project is structured into seven work packages, each involving collaboration among PhD researchers, academic institutions, government organizations, and industry partners. As a PhD researcher, I am responsible for Work Package 4: Developing Integrated Transport Network. My research focuses on adapting the existing transport network at a strategic level to seamlessly connect future low-car areas with the current transport infrastructure in the Netherlands. This is being carried out using advanced digital twin models.
