Jelle Joustra is assistant professor at Design for Sustainability and academic coordinator of the LDE-Interdisciplinary thesislab “Circulaerospace”. With a passion for understanding materials in design, he develops tools and methods to support design engineers in developing more sustainable products. Within the DfS research group, his research focuses on reuse of complex materials, starting with composites.
