Lex de Boom MSc obtained his degree in Civil Engineering (specialization Hydraulic Structures) at Delft University of Technology in 2013. Since then, Lex has been working in the field of Ports and Waterways. He worked on a great variety of projects from deepsea ports to marina's, for governments, industry and port authorities and from masterplans to detailed designs. Lex is passionate about nautical safety both on inland waterways and at sea. Currently, he is a part-time lecturer at Delft University of Technology and a consultant at Witteveen+Bos.
