Liang Huang is an associated professor in Wuhan University of Technology and a visiting scholar in Delft University of Technology.  He possessed more that 30 articles and around 10 patents,and became the reviewer of several high-impact peer-reviewed journals. His research interests including maritime safety and environment, maritime big data and intelligent navigation.

 

 

 

Academic background

Liang Huang received the B.S. degree in Remote Sensing Science and technology and Ph.D. degree in Cartography and Geographical information engineering from Wuhan University, P.R.China, in 2008 and 2014, respectively. From June 2015 to June 2018, he came to Wuhan University of Technology (WUT) as post-doctoral researches and majored in maritime big data mining. After that, he became an Assistant Researcher in the Intelligent Transportation Systems Research Center (ITS), WUT. Since Octorber 2020, he has been an Associate Professor.
