Personal profile

Research profile

I am a PhD candidate in a project that is a collaboration between the TU Delft, the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment, and Leiden University. My aim is to support the energy transition by integrating behavioral insights in agent-based models for the adoption and efficient use of heat pumps. Our project develops an innovative approach to the formalisation of socio-psychological theories to increase the validity of social simulations.

Academic background

In my PhD project, I draw from my interdisciplinary background. I completed a BSc in PPLE (Politics, Psychology, Law, and Economics) at the University of Amsterdam, followed by a MSc in Sustainable Development at Utrecht University.
