Marthe Wassink works as a PhD in the Coastal Engineering section of Delft University of Technology since December 2024. She graduated from the master Earth & Environment at Wageningen University, specializing in hydrology. In her research Marthe investigates sediment dynamics in the entire Wadden Sea. She is part of the project PaRCA (Pathways for Realising Climate Adaptation in the Wadden Sea), which aims to find possible solutions to support the tidal basins of the Wadden Sea to grow with sea level rise.
