Personal profile

Research profile

In 2024, I was awarded the Horizon Europe - Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action and am currently working on my project, "POPS for Youth: Shedding New Light On Privately Owned Public Spaces (POPS) to Improve Social Inclusion," at the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, TU Delft.

My work focuses on an activity-based approach to analysing private sector involvement in the provision of public spaces and amenities, fostering social interaction and community engagement. My research integrates urban design, social science, and youth studies to examine how privately owned public spaces impact young people's social inclusion and well-being. Using an evidence-based research method, I investigate the intersection of urban governance, spatial inclusion, and youth engagement in contemporary cities.
