Marie-Therese Sekwenz is a PhD candidate at TU Delft’s Institute of Technology, Policy and Management and a member of the AI Futures Lab of the university. As a member of the AI Futures Lab community, she asks questions addressing aspects of rights and justice. Her research focuses on content moderation, platform governance and regulation, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and socio-technical and legal system design. Furthermore, Marie-Therese is active as a journalist for the Austrian Broadcasting Agency (ORF), producing for formats like ‘Diagonal’ or ‘Radiokolleg’.
Previously Marie-Therese worked on research projects for the Leibniz Institute for Media Research – Hans-Bredow- Institute (HBI) and the Vienna University of Economics Business.
Marie-Therese studied at the latter university and spent a semester abroad at the Graduate School of Management in St Petersburg. She has a background in law, information systems and economics.
