Research interests

My research is fundamentally driven by a desire to understand economics through the lens of classical political economy, particularly within the context of a globally interconnected capitalist system. This approach challenges the conventional focus on scarcity that dominates much of economics, seeking instead to address the broader dynamics of production and distribution in an increasingly globalized world. My current research focuses on exploring the macroeconomic distributional impacts of the rise of international value chains and investigating the policy frameworks needed to address these dynamics within the EU context.

Ultimately, my research aims to bridge the gap between theory and policy by providing actionable insights into the evolving structures of global value chains and their implications for economic stability and equity. Through this work, I hope to contribute to the development of economic frameworks that are both analytically rigorous and socially responsive.
