Dr. Remco Hartkamp is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands). He obtained his PhD in 2013 from the University of Twente (The Netherlands) and Swinburne University of Technology (Australia). Before joining Delft in 2017, he held postdoctoral positions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA) and Vanderbilt University (USA).

His research focuses on interfacial phenomena, with particular interest in electrochemical processes and electrokinetic transport. He employs a broad range of methods, including molecular dynamics simulations, lattice Boltzmann modeling, theoretical analysis, and experiments.

Dr. Hartkamp is also an Associate Editor of Physics of Fluids (AIP) and an Editorial Advisory Board member of ACS Engineering AU (ACS).
