Personal profile
Research profile
I am a Project Management professional with a background in Urban management and Architecture. My research interests include investigating interdependencies in implementation and policy-making networks of infrastructure and construction projects, with an inter-organizational and social perspective on their project performance; contributing to knowledge and learning in uncertainty and complex processes for fostering innovative environmental, economic and social resilience, sustainability and development.
My current PhD research is aimed at understanding the process of learning in infrastructure projects. Learning is challenging in a transdisciplinary infrastructure setting which requires diverse knowledge exchanges with multiple stakeholders in contrast to mono-disciplinary settings where specialists find each other and communicate effectively. I study how knowledge can be translated from one-off projects to across organizations, thereby improving the performance of the industry.
