Sulongge is a PhD researcher in Railway Engineering Section and Geo-Engineering Section at Delft University of Technology. He obtained his B.Sc. degree at Southeast University (China) in Civil Engineering and M.Sc. in Geotechnical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano (Italy). His research interests include slope stability, soil dynamics, and numerical simulation.
Sulongge's research focuses on understanding and modeling the response of the railway embankment under the loading from the passing train with different speed, axle load, passing frequency, etc. His research is conducted within the project RESET: Reliable Embankments for the Safe Expansion of Rail Traffic.
