Tosca's doctoral research is part of the C-Scape project, that aims to contribute to the multi-disciplinary comprehension of soft engineering solutions for coastal management. Her specific focus is on the morphodynamic examination of nourishment scenarios that incorporate higher volumes of sand to address the challenge of rising sea levels. This entails the development and application of numerical models, along with the exploration of the multidisciplinary implications of nourishment strategies.
