Each year, 30 young researchers are selected by an EMS committee to join the EMS Young Academy among those proposed by the national mathematics organisations. Membership is awarded for your years. The role of EMYA is to strengthen the role and perspective of the young generation of mathematicians in Europe and within the EMS as well as to provide support in their mathematical development and their career perspectives.
