Objectives
The DIRECTORS project wants to achieve:
1. a new teaching approach to advance the (open) data literacy of ISCED level 1 pupils (pupils).
2. innovative quality teaching material and Open Educational Resources to support teachers in teaching (open) data literacy at the ISCED level 1.
Activities
- Networking with school teachers
- Open educational resources design and development
- Implementation of two cycles of workshops for pupils
- National workshop review meetings with teachers
- International workshop review and project team meetings
- Two local technical webinars for training interested teachers
- An international global event for project results dissemination
Impact
We expect the following results from the project:
- A literature review of data literacy education approaches
- Creation of an accessible project website
- A set of innovative, high-quality, accessible open educational resources for data literacy education
- One research journal paper and a dissemination article on the project results
- Informatics curricula guidelines for national bodies
