Description
Can we solve all problems by just using one super-algorithm? Researchers at TU Delft are exploring this option. Typically computer scientists develop algorithms for specific types of problems, however recently it has been discovered that similar ideas work across different problems. Finding one algorithm that can solve a wide range of problems would be invaluable as it would simplify the pipeline of developing and applying advanced algorithms in practice. This would make it easier for us to use algorithms to improve our train schedules, production plans in factories, logistics routes, and much more.
