Abstract

Theconstructionofgeneregulatorymodelsfrommicroarraytime-seriesdatahasreceivedmuchattention.Hereweproposeamethodthatextendsstandardcorrelationnetworkstoincorporateexplicittimeslices.Themethodisappliedtoatime-seriesdatasetofastudyongeneexpressioninthedevelopmentalphaseofzebra¿sh.Resultsshowthatthemethodisabletodistinguishrealrelationsbetweengenesfromthedata.Theserelationsareexplicitlyplacedintime,allowingforabetterunderstandingofgeneregulation.ThemethodanddatanormalisationprocedurehavebeenimplementedusingtheRstatisticallanguageandareavailablefromhttp://zebrafish.liacs.nl/supplements.html.
