    Abstract

To study the potentaial of sensor augmentation concepts for the manual control of Remotely Piloted Vehicles, a simulation-based evaluation environment is needed. In this paper, the basic requirements for such an evaluation environment are addressed. Based on these requirements, several options for realizing the desired environmental are addressed. Based on these requirements, several options for realizing the desired environment are identified. It is described which factors have influenced the choices made and how the requirements have been met.
