Abstract

A sustainable pavement, which can minimize environmental impacts through the reduction of energy consumption, natural resources and associated emissions while meeting all performance conditions and standards, is in urgent need to combat the climate change. The current scenario of depleting crude oil, reduced quarry zones, and stringent environmental regulations has driven the use of waste materials and by-products in pavement applications.
