Abstract
We present fabrication of and the first measurements on suspended double quantum dots in a carbon nanotube. When fabricating our devices, nanotubes grown on-chip are localized by AFM scanning, and subsequently contacted and gated with customized electrode geometries. Preliminary low-temperature transport measurement results are discussed, where the double quantum dot characteristics are clearly recognizable in measured current.
